Distribution: India (Punjab, Uttarakhand, West Bengal); China; Mauritius; Sri Lanka; Africa (Ghana) (Diakonoff 1982; Zhang & Li 2005; Koçak & Kemal 2012). Hosts: This species is polyphagous, with records from Mangifera indica (Anacardiaceae), Coriaria nepalensis (Coriariaceae), Woodfordia fruticosa (Lythraceae), Eucalyptus alba, Eucalyptus grandis, Eucalyptus robusta, Lophostemon confertus, Nelaleuca cajuputi, Psidium guajava, and Syzygium cumini (Myrtaceae) (Meyrick 1910, 1912, 1927; Fletcher 1932; Diakonoff 1982; Wen & Lee 1985; Rose & Pooni 2005; Sidhu et al. 2008).
