Abstract – A new genus and six new species are introduced in this paper; they are: Jumaramaria jumaraensis n. gen. & n. sp. (Pleurotomariidae), Solarioconulus kachchhensis n. sp. (Ataphridae), Chartronella belaensis n. sp. (Paraturbinidae), Planiturbo lerensis n. sp. (Metriomphalidae), Exelissa indiana n. sp. (Cryptaulacidae), and Sulcoactaeon? haboensis n. sp. (Aplustridae).
