Relevance of the research topic. The study of organizational and managerial aspects of security and financial monitoring of ensuring innovative development of the economy is conditioned by the lack of a unified approach to the implementation of the algorithm of this process. Formulation of the problem. Currently, the problem of financing the innovative development of the economy is the most urgent and urgent. State bodies, international organizations, legal entities and individuals participate in the implementation of developed innovative programs and projects in order to activate innovative activities in the sectors of the economy, society as a whole and support innovative processes at each individual enterprise. One of the main problems of the implementation of innovative processes is financing, which should provide them with resources, which include not only funds, but also other investments in the monetary equivalent, which require appropriate monitoring. Setting the purpose and objectives of the study – to investigate the organizational and management aspects of security and financial monitoring of ensuring the innovative development of the economy. Research method or methodology. The article uses the following methods: graphic, monographic, analysis and synthesis, systematization. Presentation of the main material (research results). It has been proven that in the modern realities of Ukraine, one of the real measures to compensate for the extremely insufficient budgetary funding of science is the attraction of customer funds by solving the problem of stimulating the entrepreneurial sector to finance scientific research and development in order to update and modernize its own production. Ensuring the optimal allocation of budget funds for the main types of scientific and scientific and technical activities requires the provision, when forming the State Budget of Ukraine for the corresponding year, of an increase in the amount of expenditures for financing applied works, primarily those carried out within the framework of programmatic funding. One of the ways to resolve this situation is to ensure the allocation of additional budget funds for the implementation of scientific research and development projects, which will be selected on a competitive basis, as well as for grant funding of scientific projects in priority areas, which will allow to stimulate competition in the field of scientific research and development. Field of application of results. The results of the research can be used in the practical activities of organizations and institutions to improve the organization of security and financial monitoring of ensuring the innovative development of the economy. Conclusions on the article. It has been proven that the dominant development path for Ukraine should be based on the strategy of building innovative potential in the priority areas of scientific and technological progress determined in advance by the state. Taking this into account, the main measures for the implementation of the strategy, which will ensure a significant increase in the competitiveness of the economy and domestic enterprises due to the use of scientific and technical innovations, can be: the formation of priorities for scientific, technical and innovative activities and the concentration of state resources for their implementation; building an effective system of interaction between science, education, and production; increasing the role of the credit and financial sphere in the development of innovative activities, etc
