Background: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic inflammatory multifocal demyelinating disease of the central nervous system (CNS) with progressive neurodegeneration. MS is one of the world's most common neurologic disorders and consider to be the most common cause of non-traumatic disability in young adults. According to Atlas multiple sclerosis of WHO, the median estimated prevalence and incidence of MS is greatest in Europe followed by the Eastern Mediterranean, the Americas, the Western Pacific, South-East Asia and Africa.
