The use of georeferenced data for monitoring and supporting agricultural policies has been a common practice for many years. However, these administrative data sources can find additional uses in other research fields. This study aims to examine administrative data sources of land use and land coverage, obtained through the European Open IACS project, describing their strengths and limitations. Then this study suggests a methodological process for their integration and use in statistical analysis. Through Correspondence Analysis, I study the association between land use with the presence of Isoproturon, a plant protection product, in the surface waters of the Italian province of Foggia
