This study determined the influence of emotional-social intelligence and a positive learning environment on the cognitive performance of students. A descriptive-correlational research design was employed. There were 300 Senior High School respondents in one of the public secondary schools in the Division of Davao del Norte who were chosen through simple random sampling. This study used three adopted questionnaires. Mean, Pearson r and regression analysis were used as statistical tools. Results show that the students' emotional-social intelligence and cognitive performance were very high while the positive learning environment was high.
