Using clean energy is a recent trend around the world. It is a good way to protect the environment and implement the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. Following that trend, in recent years, the Vietnam government has enacted many legal policies and regulations to encourage everybody to use clean energy to live and develop economics. This paper analyzed the facts and problems of using clean energy as well as law and regulation in Vietnam, in comparison with other countries around the world. Then, some solutions to improve the problems related to using clean energy in Vietnam for the next period are recommended.
