A wide range of thermo-stable enzymes is extracted from thermophilic bacteria from hot springs which are utilized in industries and in research. Proteases are the important range of thermo-stable enzymes which constitutes 59% of the global market share of industrial enzymes. The present study is based on Salbardi hot spring in central India which is known for its medically important hot spring water and its different chemical composition. This study is the first microbiological phylogenetic characterization of soil and water samples from salbardi hot spring region.
