ON THE PROBLEMS OF STUDYING ETHNIC PROCESSES IN ANCIENT AND EARLY MIDDLE AGES

Based on historical sources and literature, the article discusses ethnic processes in ancient and early medieval times. For example, the works of K. Shoniyozov, A. Askarov, V. P. Alekseev, B. E. Amanbaeva, S. Bobomulloev, E. E. Kuzmina, V. M. Masson, T. Kadirova and H. Mamadaliev in the Central Asian region the study of ethnic processes is proved. It is an important aspect of the article to identify the positive aspects, achievements, and main reasons for the shortcomings of these studies
