Attitudes of Faculty Members in The College of Education at Taibah University Towards Distance Education in Light of The CoronaVirus (Covid-19)

The study aimed to identify the trends of faculty members in the Faculty of Education at Taibah University towards distance education in light of the Corona pandemic (Covid-19), and to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical approach was used, and the questionnaire was used as a study tool. The College of Education at Taibah University, in the first semester of the academic year (1442 AH), totaling (152) faculty members. The results of the study showed that the attitudes of faculty members in the College of Education at Taibah University towards distance education in light of the Corona pandemic (Covid-19) came in a moderate degree. The study also showed that there are no statistically significant differences at a significance level (0.05) between the averages of the study sample's trends towards distance education in light of the Corona pandemic (Covid-19) due to the study variables (academic department, degree, gender). The study recommended the importance of adopting distance education as an effective strategic alternative to continue the educational process in the event of emergency or natural accidents, and to benefit from the best practices of Saudi universities in the field of distance education
