:- In optoelectronics, the use of light emitting diodes (LEDs) has been of great importance. Now a day LEDbased moving-message displays are becoming popular for transmitting information to large groups of people quickly. The control of LED matrix is based PIC18F4520 microcontrollers. This micro controller was programmed using C language. The number of the microcontroller’s pins used in controlling the LED matrix was strictly minimized to three by adopting the serial to parallel mode of signal transmission.
