BlogForever D2.3: Weblog Ontologies

This report outlines an inquiry into the area of ontologies, conducted within the context of blog preservation, management and dissemination. Three different scenarios regarding the application of ontologies are presented and evaluated including interoperability with Linked Open Data, Semantic Extension of Tags and utilisation of Microdata, Microformats and RDFa. This report provides an insight into some of the most promising applications of ontologies that should be further examined and implemented within the BlogForever project
