Vladimir Soloviev as the Perpetrator of the Russian Philosophy The article is an attempt at orderly reflection on the history of Russian philosophy, and especially the particular place of Vladimir Soloviev within it. Soloviev's role is defined as being the perpetrator, as the cause of Russian philosophy. It is juxtaposed with Piotr Chaadayev's place in the history of Russian philosophy, which was described as the founding myth. Being a perpetrator is creating a strong and deep ground for Russian philosophy and, subsequently, paving its paths for further development, willingly undertaken by Russian philosophers of the 20th century
