Geography as a school subject has an important role for sustainability, shaping itself as a sustainable link for investment in the educational process. In this sense, Geography facilitates the students’ education for sustainability, especially in the components of “New Education”. The article presents a number of theoretical and methodological reflections on sustainability education through the study of geography, as well as certain recommendations regarding its importance and promotion
