Abstract

The genus Thelechoris Karsch, 1881 was transferred from the Dipluridae to the family Ischnothelidae. The Ischnothelidae is represented by five genera and 26 species. Only one species Thelechoris striatipes (Simon, 1889) is known from South Africa. Due to its wide geographical range, it is listed as being of Least Concern
