КОМПЕТЕНТНІСНИЙ ПІДХІД – УМОВА ПІДВИЩЕННЯ ЯКОСТІ ФАХОВОЇ ПІДГОТОВКИ МАЙБУТНІХ СПЕЦІАЛІСТІВ ЕКОНОМІЧНОГО ПРОФІЛЮ В СУЧАСНИХ УМОВАХ

The author defines the internal and external factors that affect the training of specialists in economics at the present stage of development of society. She considers the basic concepts of competence approach and emphasizes the importance of unlocking students’ personal potential in terms of application of the competency approach in training. It has been found that the professions of future specialists in economics can be divided into two types: "Man - Man" and "Man - Sign System." According to this, an assumption is made about the differences between students’ basic skills, necessary for the formation of professionally important qualities for each group of professions. The professionally significant qualities, necessary for the students of “Finance and Credit” and “Human Resources” specialisms, their differences, and dependence of these qualities on the natural potential of the students are identified. The further ways of improving the quality of training of future specialists in economics are outlined: use of differentiation and individualization in training on the basis of the unlocking of students’ personal potential as well as selection and implementation of appropriate forms and methods of teaching
