This paper explores the potential of crowdsourced data for identifying and managing road safety hazards. The study uses the mobile application FixCyprus as an example, which allows citizens to report road defects and infrastructure-related issues. The authors found that the crowdsourced data collected through the app was effective in identifying and addressing road defects.
