Corrigiola litoralis Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 271. 1753. "Habitat in Galliae, Germaniae litoribus arenosis." RCN: 2159. Lectotype (Chaudhri, Rev. Paronychiinae: 37. 1968): Herb. Linn. No. 386.1 (LINN). Generitype of Corrigiola Linnaeus. Current name: Corrigiola litoralis L. (Caryophyllaceae). Note: Jonsell & Jarvis (in Jarvis & al., Regnum Veg. 127: 38. 1993) chose Herb.
