Solar energy as a source of renewable energy has been acknowledged to be a potential source of heat for domestic and industrial purposes. This paper analyzes the efficiency of different solar collectors and the determining factors affecting the efficiency of collectors, and presents them as pre-determining factors in the choice of collectors at the user end for cost and operational effectiveness
