A literature Investigation on Ayurveda Drugs for the Preparation of Cosmetic Products

Production of herbal products is not only a local business but also has global market opportunities therefore the herbal cosmetic product industry has grown rapidly. In the formulation of cosmetic products manufacturing with proven quality and consistency is an important aspect. Therefore the objectives of this study were to identify the potential uses of indigenous/ Ayurveda medicinal plants for commercialized herbal cosmetic products and to discuss possible interventions for the development of the herbal cosmetics industry. Nowadays, the cosmetic products industry has been adapting to herbal products. Among the herbal cosmetic products face washes, beauty serums, foaming scrubs, and glowing soaps have taken on a major place in the cosmetic industry. These cosmetic products are critical to providing reliable pharmaceutical care as per customer demand. Therefore, according to the basic principles of Ayurveda, the introduction of herbal extracts containing the most important nutritional components for the nutrition of Sapta Dhatu was done through this literature investigation. As a result of literature investigation, Aloe Vera, Manjishta, Licorice, Jasmine, turmeric, Coriander, sandalwood, and Neem are beneficial in skin nutrition, complexion, radiance, acne scar removal, skin moisture retention, and skin protection from harmful UV rays was confirmed that given virtues. Therefore, by making cosmetic products using these herbal drugs, the customer can achieve the desired glow and care without side effects
