Implementation of knowledge models

Formal knowledge models are one of the underpinnings of the MAS4AI project. MAS4AI implements a Multi Agent System (MAS), with many assets in the manufacturing processes represented by agents. Knowledge models provide a common reference for knowledge among the agents and function as a basis for a common language in the use cases and in the project. There are two different sources of knowledge for the agent in MAS4AI: (1) knowledge about a manufacturing application domain, which is defined in the ontology and (2) characteristics and properties of individual agents, which are defined in the Asset Administration Shell (AAS).
