FIFA players' Value analysis

Abstract: This project is developing how the different factors affect FIFA players' value. According to utilize the analyzing results from the real world cup, the video game company could make the game getting more realistic. From the body type of the FIFA players to how the skill they contain and also the wage the FIFA players deserve, that the video game player can completely feel the real FIFA game. From the beginning, I divided the factors into two main parts, which are demographic factors and skill factors. Next, I took a look for the correlation between those factors and the players' value. Furthermore, I analyzed the countries which have won the prizes in the FIFA world cup from 1930 to 2014. I counted the rank by calculating their converted awards points, then we would get the 19 countries. To see how the skill factors those 19 countries performed, I drew radar plots to visualize the skill distribution. Conclusion: The conclusion we got: •1. The demographic factors do not affect the players’ value much. •2. The peak of a player’s wage is 3 years later than the peak of value. •3. The reactions in the skill factors are the most influential factors to a player’s value. •4. The right foot preferred players are much more than left foot preferred, but the values do not have big differences. •5. The country which has the higher rank does have a higher point at each capacity.
