Aim: The purpose of this study was to find a safe and effective analgesic alternative to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for patients who have undergone dental alveolar surgery that cannot tolerate NSAIDs. Place and Duration: In the Dental department of Nishter Hospital Multan for one year duration from March 2019 to March 2020. Methods: We randomly compared the effectiveness of tramadol hydrochloride with diclofenac sodium. Sixty patients after the third molar surgery were divided into two groups. One group was given 50 mg tramadol hydrochloride three times a day, and the other group was given 50 mg diclofenac sodium three times a day for three days.
