South African National Survey of Arachnida Photo Identification Guide: The Liocranidae of South Africa

The family Liocranidae is represented 33 genera and 290 species worldwide. From South Africa three genera are represented by 11 spp. and one subspecies. No genera have yet revised in Africa. Of the South African species seven are South African endemics while four are known from southern Africa. Five species are Data Deficient known only from one sex while the rest have a wide distribution and is of Least Concern. A few possibly new species have been sampled
