Plangia graminea

Plangia graminea (Serville, 1838) Material examined. Zambia: Camp near Kanyama (Miombo/Riverine Dambo mosaic) (1375m) 4-7.XII.2019, M. Bashford, W. Miles, L. Mulvaney (1♂); Mozambique: Maputo Special Reserve, West Gate, Sand Thicket, Actinic Light Trap 9-17.II.2018, G. Laszlo, J. Mulvaney, L. Smith (1♂) (ANHRT). Remarks. The specimens above listed match quite well with the images presented by Hemp et al. (2015) for P. graminea; the stridulatory file of Zambian specimen has ca. 70 teeth, very similar to 67 teeth reported by Hemp et al. (2015).
