The study was conducted to find out how attitude of students determine their academic achievement in senior secondary schools in history. The qualitative analysis was adopted to carry out the study. The study established that attitude of students affect their academic achievement From the findings it was concluded that parents should be aware of the needs to create an enabling home environment that is conducive for the education of their children. In view of importance of History, the study made the following recommendations: that the subject should be given adequate attention in terms of policy statement, qualified teachers with positive attitude towards the subject should be employed and encouraged: teachers should be allowed to attend se...
