Aims: Scaling up of stocking density of black tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon) under improved shrimp farming system in the Khulna region of Bangladesh. Study Design: Completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatments each with three replicates. Place and Duration of Study: In the farm station of Gazi fish culture ltd. at Koilashgong, Khulna, Bangladesh between March to June 2011. Methodology: Nine ponds were selected and all ponds were prepared according to the general pond preparation system. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tested post larvae (PL15) were stocked at three different stocking densities i.e. 8 pcs/m2 (T1), 15 pcs/m2 (T2) and 22 pcs/m2 (T3).
