The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence and incidence of cystic echinococcosis among the camels slaughtered. Also, our study includes investigate the viability of protoscoleces and histopathological change evaluation. The result of current study revealed that only 29 out of 432 examined camels were infected with hydatid cyst at infection rate of (6.71%). There were a relationship between the climatic conditions and the incidence of Hydatidosis with a highest (14.03%) and lower (2.7%) percentages of infection in February and May respectively.
