This research paper investigates the fire performance of circular RC columns that were strengthened with poly-paraphenylene-ben-zobisoxazole (PBO) fabric-reinforced cementitious matrix (FRCM) system. Four identical columns were cast, with three of them being strengthened using varying number of PBO-FRCM layers. The fire exposure followed ASTM E119 standards. The temperature response curves were analyzed, and the post-fire conditions were evaluated. Initially, the columns with greater number of PBO-FRCM layers exhibited significantly lower temperatures.
