This study examines the use of Operations Research in retailing, both domestic and international, in various forms and methodologies. The retail industry is one of the fastest-growing and most promising. Customers in this industry have high expectations, and thus companies need to be able to meet those demands effectively in order to remain viable. The company must also keep costs under control while increasing income.
