By examining stress patterns, semantic context, and the theory of (Generalized) Paradigm Function Morphology, the study finds that stress determines the reduplication process and that semantic context triggers it. The paper provides new insights into the (G)PFM theory, which can be extended to analyze complex reduplicative patterns in other languages beyond Kodi. The findings have important implications for our understanding of linguistic structure and may inform future studies of language typology and mor...
