Abstract: IT infrastructure can have a wide range of diverse technologies, platforms and applications that need to interoperate to serve business goals. Enterprise Application integration (EAI) which can be defined as “the enablement of data sharing between heterogenous information systems within one enterprise” is becoming more and more essential to enterprises as it streamlines business processes, ensures the integrity between different systems, reduces labour cost and minimizes human errors.
