Nutrients are essential for plant growth and prosperity and to determine its future nutrient content for human or animal consumption. The nutrients are classified as macronutrients (elements that plants require in large amount such as phosphorus, potassium) and micronutrients (elements required in smaller amounts such as Manganese, Zinc, Boron).
