ЗАЛУЧЕННЯ МАЙБУТНІХ УЧИТЕЛІВ У ЯКОСТІ ДОПИСУВАЧІВ ВУЗІВСЬКИХ ГАЗЕТ ЯК УМОВА РЕАЛІЗАЦІЇ ПРОФЕСІЙНО-ПЕДАГОГІЧНОГО ПОТЕНЦІАЛУ ПРЕСИ ВИЩИХ ПЕДАГОГІЧНИХ НАВЧАЛЬНИХ ЗАКЛАДІВ

The article deals with finding the ways to improve professional pedagogical training of future teachers in the national higher school. Special attention is focused on the importance of realizing the professional pedagogical potential of the press of higher pedagogical education institutions in the organizational process of professional training preparation. The author of the present article has specified the definitions of the key terms of the problem under investigation such as “potential”, “professional pedagogical potential of the press of higher pedagogical education institutions”, “condition”, “pedagogical condition”. The author of the article has defined the following pedagogical conditions of the realization of the university press potential: getting future teachers acquainted with educational and upbringing traditions of higher pedagogical education institutions on the pages of the university press, attracting future teachers as correspondents for university newspapers, and using materials of the university press in the education process. On the basis of the analysis of the press of some Ukrainian pedagogical institutions of higher learning the author of the present paper has characterized the ways of the realization of one of the above-mentioned conditions, viz attracting future teachers as correspondents for university newspapers. It has been proved that exactly on this condition the professional pedagogical potential of the university press, which is defined as a totality of possibilities and abilities of the pedagogical influence on the process of future teachers’ professional formation, is realized to its largest extent. This is insured by consistent and purposeful work of the editorial boards of university newspapers and students’ media-committees on popularization of people-powered journalism; this is also achieved due to assisting future teachers in acquiring journalistic skills by means organizing scientific workshops or university courses like “Teachers’ Media Culture”, and by widening quantitative, qualitative, thematic and multifaceted range of students’ mass media activities on the university level as well as on the level of separate faculties and departments
