These data are from geochemical analysis used from Paleoenvironmental evolution of the Aptian Romualdo Formation, Araripe Basin, northeaster Brazil. These results are submitted to Global and Planetary Change. With these data we show environmental changes recorded in Sobradinho Section, changings in palosalinity and marine influence. The ostracod abundances increased when salinity increased
