Neoperla (Formosita) bimaculata Li, Wang & Li 2021 , presumed female (Figs. 53–55) Material studied: 2♀, India, Himachal Pradesh, Barog nr Solan [30.88°, 77.10°], 1550m, 17.7.92, leg. Julka & Bala (Zoological Survey of India). 1♀, Bhutan, Dorjee Khandu Dukpa, Kharbandi [26°50‘20‘‘, 89°23‘30‘‘], 700m (Mus. Basel). The very characteristic pigmentation (Fig. 54) makes me believe these are the unknown females of N. bimaculata which was named from Tibet (Motuo, Beibeng, 29°14’45.11’’ N, 95°10’16.21’’E). The species is apparently widespread in the Himalaya. Female genitalia (Fig. 55) similar to N. fasciata but the vaginal extension is twice as long as the base of the vagina and is curved. It is uncertain if it contains a longitudinally folded sclerite, or a pair of closely appressed sclerites.
