Les parasites métazoaires des Chiroptères de France (Acari, Anoplura, Cestoda, Diptera, Hemiptera, Nematoda, Siphonaptera, Trematoda): contribution à un état des lieux bibliographique (1762-2018) et à l'établissement d'une liste nationale

Abstract: This book is a bibliographical survey of the data published on bat parasites in France (including Corsica) between 1762 and 2018. The aim is to make a synthesis of the available documentation on bats of this region, since the first written document to the present period. During this studied period, 236 scientific publications dealing with bat parasites in France were written and we listed them. The contents of each one is analyzed, summed up and indexed in this book. Publications have shown that bats are infected with a large diversity of endoparasites and ectoparasites. 115 valid taxa were unambiguously identified in France from 26 hosts during this period. In France, the helminth fauna of bats is varied, with more than 20 species. 31 helminth species, including three species of Cestoda, 15 species of Trematoda and 13 species of Nematoda have so far been reported. 55 valid taxa of Acari, 13 valid species of Diptera (bat flies), 12 valid species of Siphonaptera (fleas), three valid species of Hemiptera (bugs) and one species of Anoplura have also been reported. This article also provides yet informations on geographical origins of the data. The references are easily researched thanks to a multiple indexation. It is presented as follows: an author’s index, a chronological index, a geographical index, a taxonomical index. Chacune de ces publications fait l’objet d’un résumé précisant les dates d’observation, les secteurs d’observation ou encore les hôtes et les parasites mentionnés. En outre, ces publications sont indexées selon les cinq entrées suivantes : Entrée géographique, allant jusqu’au niveau départemental Entrée taxonomique des parasites, considérant les taxons validés comme invalidés et les synonymes Entrée taxonomique des hôtes, considérant les synonymes Entrée des associations Entrée chronologique Cette étude bibliographique a permis de relever 26 espèces de Chiroptères, sur les 34 que compte aujourd’hui la faune française. Concernant les parasites, les publications listées font état de 115 espèces actuellement valides réparties en huit groupes : les Acariens (47%), les Anoploures (1%), les Cestodes (3%), les Diptères (11%), les Hémiptères (3%), les Nématodes (11%), les Siphonaptères (11%) et les Trématodes (13%). Au total, 72 départements sont concernés par le corpus bibliographique analysé. Ce travail est l’occasion d’établir un bilan sur la numérisation des publications ayant trait aux parasites métazoaires des Chiroptères de France continentale et de Corse
