The study determined the reading performance of Grade 3 students of Selected Schools in Quezon City as basis for instructional intervention model for the school year 2017-2018 using descriptive survey research design. The Philippine-Informal Reading Inventory (Phil-IRI) materials were used in assessing the level of reading performance of Grade 3 students. The data were statistically analyzed using weighted mean and t-test of independent sample. All hypothetical questions will be analyzed and interpreted at 5% level of significance.
