An intelligent model is developed to control the water level in boiler drum. There are three different types of boiler control such as i Single element boiler drum level control, ii Two element boiler drum level control and iii Three element boiler drum level control. This paper provides the knowledge about the Fuzzy PID Controller and the various PID controller design methods such as Zeigler Nichols method, Tyreus Luyben method, Internal Model Control IMC .
