The article concerns regularities and mechanisms of changes in vulnerability of nervous system to hypoxia in the course of early ontogenesis. Based on the result of the most authors, in the eary stages of the ontogene- sis, oxygen deficiency is getting weaker in the age -related manner. Nervous system as well does not react similarly to hypoxia in different periods of embryogenesis and reveals the most vulnerability in its last period
