The relevance of the stated topic of scientific research is determined by the importance of the elements of distribution networks with a voltage of 6-10 kV of energy-intensive enterprises in the context of their use in modern power supply systems, as well as the need for a systematic study of the issues of ensuring the protection of these networks from single-phase earth faults. Therefore, the development of protection against single-phase earth faults, more advanced than the existing ones, capable of meeting all the requirements both in networks with an isolated neutral and in networks grounded through an arc suppression reactor remains relevant.
