In this study are presented results of long term development dynamics of the nutritive situation of the population of Slovak Republic (SR). On the basis of calculated percentage of Recommended Dietary Allowances ( RDA ) fulfilment and recommended amount of food consumption of average consumer of SR, is expressed the nutrition standard and at the same time also the possible risks of health treat, which resulted from the long term development (more than 40 years) of the given state for the population.
