SMS final conference report

Objectives and scope The SMS final conference was held in Brussels on September 27th 2022 with the objective to inform on the EU soil research mission and how this mission is supported by results of the SMS project. With this report we would like to share our knowledge gain with regard to organising a multi‐stakeholder conference in times of COVID. Target audience of this report The key target group of this report are conference organisers in particular within the Horizon Europe Research programme. In this report we share our experience with regard to - COVID secure planning, - engagement of participants and use of innovative communication tools (conference design), - dissemination and communication before and after the conference, and - resources invested in conference planning
