The article traces the syncretism of the development of religion and culture, arts and genres of performance on the example of the formation of the beginning of the professional Uzbek-Tajik musical tradition of Bukhara Shashmaqom, starting from a pagan ritual basis. The uniqueness of its structure is in six parallel-identical constructions and the principle of unity of strict canons that have dominated for millennia.
