Realization of the program of psychological preparation of qualified handballers In the competitive period.

This article shows the results of the introduction of the experimental program of psychological training of qualified handballers in the competitive period. The research was carried out with the purpose of experimental verification of the author's program of psychological preparation of qualified handball players in the competitive period. For the study, general scientific, pedagogical, sociological, psycho-diagnostic, medical-biological methods, as well as methods of mathematical statistics were used. The main components of the developed program for the psychological preparation of qualified handball players are specified goals and objectives, the implementation of the program in certain areas, optimal for each direction of the methodology, the consistency of the content of the program with the content of other components of sports training. The program is based on the features of the structure of motivation of athletes, modern techniques, methods of influencing the relevant qualities, properties, abilities. The developed program creates the best prerequisites for the maximum realization of the capabilities of athletes in the competitive period, contributes to the achievement of higher results, compared with the use of the traditional program. The use of the experimental program of psychological training of athletes, as a component of the proposed model of their preparation for the main competitions, ensured the achievement of higher results of physical and psychological preparedness of athletes. Further research will be aimed at developing a program for the psychological preparation of qualified handballers at all stages of athletic training.
