Background & Objectives: Myopia or short-sightedness is a type of refractive error. Myopia can be classified by aetiology and by its clinical presentation. Here, the aim of this study was to observe changes occurring in the posterior segment of eye - vitreous, choroid & retina in high myopic patients and also to evaluate any correlation between the degree of myopia, axial length and the visual acuity. Methodology: A hospital-based study was conducted on 150 patients between March 2016 to March 2017. A detail demographic data, ocular history and family history was collected from patients.
