This study attempts to investigate D.M and difficulties of listening to lectures. Students find problems in understanding lectures quickly because they don’t know D.M. This study used the quantitative method by giving subjects apassage to read and questionnaire to answer. The researcher found that the students commit mistakes and found difficulties in recognizing D.M
