COVID-19 E ESCOLAS NO AR: TRANSMISSÃO DE AULAS POR RÁDIO E TV ABERTA EM PERÍODO DE DISTANCIAMENTO SOCIAL

This paper explores Resolution No. 94/2020 of the State Education Council, which presents alternatives for the transmission of remote classes in Maranhão during the pandemic period, caused by the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). Among the alternatives is the transmission of classes through radio and open TV. The study aims to describe the pedagogical potential of these tools in learning process. It deals with a bibliographic and documentary research, which discusses the impacts of the suspension of face-to-face classes and also addresses the challenges and benefits of transmission of classes on open communication channels (radio and TV), in Maranhão. It shows that the classes transmitted by radio and TV favor the learning process in times of social distance and present themselves as an inclusive practice, considering that many students do not have access to other technologies to follow up the school content
