Background: Prostate cancer is one of the most common malignancies diagnosed in men & is the most common cancer found in men older than 60 years. One third of all men older than 50 years have a latent form of prostate cancer that may progress to life threatening Prostate cancer. In this study all the precancerous lesions were more common in the higher age groups (60-69 and 70-79 years). Material And Methods: The present study has been performed on 100 patients in the department of Surgery , Eras Lucknow medical college and hospital. The age of the patients varied from 40-80 years.
