The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technology based on a network of physical objects, devices, vehicles, buildings, and more which are comprised of such systems as electronics, software, and sensors. This type of internet connects physical devices through RFID labels, sensors, and smart objects. The IoT is faced with many challenges including data security, privacy maintenance, data quality and trust, which requires mechanisms such as integrity, authentication, access control and confidentiality.
